Lesson 2.2

Today's notes in class: Nothing really. Read the book. Hurrah.

Note: The constant rule, the power rule, and the constant multiple rules were used in the last chapter. P: we just didn't give them fancy names. The sum rule and difference is just stating you do each part of the equation separately if it's separated with +'s or -'s

If you have a derivative of sin it changes to cos, if you have a derivative of cos it changes to -sin

Homework: 1, 2, 3-63 (mutiple of 3), 67-72

The problems tonight seemed okay for the most part.

3-24 uses the 'rules' which we have already been using for a while

25-30 basically like 3-24

31-38 is kind of like what we did in 2.1. Find the derivative, then plug in x.

39-52 is the same as 3-24 but with more steps. Still use the same rules and stuff.

53-56 find the derivative, plug in x and the put it in slope form. y=m(x-xvalue)+yvalue or any slope form ._.;

57-62 find the derivative, and try to make the problem equal to zero.

Note: This is how I found mine and matched them with the back of the book, if I did it wrong PLEASE say so
